Where did he rank based on his time with us then?

Re: Diame
I suppose this week is evidence that Nolan was holding back both Diame and Downing from playing their best position at the club.

Re: Diame
The fact they reset the stats if a player moves means his iffy performances for us don't apply on their rankings :). Lucky Mo!

He wasn't even the 11th best player in our squad.

Diame scores 2 in 2 and he's the 11th best player in the league ... Fucking hilarious

Re: Diame
Somebody on here said the other week that he was a proper MoTD highlights player and I think that was proved yesterday.

Very good goal though, and he's always had that in his locker but he will make errors. He'll also have more bad games than good ones.

Koyoute is better no doubt. Diame back to his level at Hull. Makes me laugh that after all the tantrums about a bigger contract or he's off to a bigger club, he ends up at a smaller one.

Re: Diame
Luxury player, toilet. Can't get in our team now, hence the reason he's at Hull City.
Our midfield BATTERED Stevie G and co yesterday, you can have that for free.

Spot on. And if you watch the full highlights, if it wasn't for the fact that Newcastle had no ability to finish before Cisse came on, he would have been directly responsible for a goal against, with his mazzy dribble into the box and then direct pass to the opposition trick that he perfected with us.

Great player on his minute but I am saying the same thing I said was when he was with us last season, too much a liability over the course of the year, to start regularly.

But then maybe the penny will drop or has dropped being at Hull and he will keep the concentration/effort up through the whole season.

No matter how it goes in the future, he wasn't doing it with any consistency with us and so it was a good move for us, whether it is a good move for him in the long run remains to be seen.

Re: Diame
Good luck to him, as I think Sam used him incorrectly due to his obsession with some of our other players, but there is no way I'd have him above kouyate or song anyway, so not worth discussing for me.

Re: Diame
He can score a decent goal when interested but even in the highlights of Hull v Newcastle yesterday you could see him standing around watching when his teammates were trying to make the play.

Lazy!

Re: Diame
I think in the Prem you have to keep regenerating the squad. I wouldn't have picked Diame to go necessarily, but on reflection I'm just glad somebody else left and we moved along the squad a bit.

Re: Diame
We had 3 players who were better at the role Nolan plays, diame Morrison and downing but none wound ever get the nod over Nolan, Morrison came on against Fulham and was superb so had to play against palace so BFS drops Jarvis and puts diame on the left wing, I just think diame and Morrison are those types of players that always disappoint, you know what they can do but also know they will never really do it enough

Fuck diame. The cunt doesn't even make the bench for me.

Re: Diame
He is a decent player when played in his favoured position the further up and more central he is the better he is its that simple and i feel you cannot blame Diame solely for his inconsistent form for us.

Re: Diame
He'll go off the boil and start blowing out of his arse even sooner when he finds out there's a Gregs near Hull's training ground.

Picks and chooses what games he turns it on in- usually against a top four or five side when he wants to put himself in the shop window. Great close control for a run and shot but a run and pass to a team mate is a fucking rare thing.
